Piano Teacher! Paid training in method

We are seeking a piano teacher to provide in‑home lessons to students, primarily between 3 pm and 8 pm, Monday‑Friday. Candidates must be available for at least four hours per day, four days per week, and commit to a two‑year teaching contract.

• Conduct personalized piano lessons for a minimum of 20 students per week, each lesson lasting 30 minutes.
• Travel to students’ homes and manage lesson scheduling.
• Use a smartphone or tablet for lesson apps, sheet‑music retrieval, and communication with parents.
• Maintain professional performance standard (beginner‑to‑advanced level acceptable).
• Bring a piano or keyboard; a $200 signing bonus is available for those who already own equipment.

• Proficient music‑theory knowledge: essential circle of fifths, chord inversions, chord degrees, and major/minor/augmented/diminished chords.
• Solid sight‑reading ability – 70 % or better on a first‑time reading exercise.
• Comfortable teaching ages 4 and up, typically 6 and older.
• Reliable personal vehicle for travel; public transportation not acceptable.
• Strong comfort with technology, including a smartphone and basic computer use for training and administration.
• Availability to teach primarily between 4 pm and 8 pm, Monday‑Friday, with at least four hours per day.
