Tutor WSU students in Computer Science at the Ogden Learning Center as part of the Learning Support department. Tutoring is performed on a drop‑in basis; availability for shifts is determined by the tutor. The position includes training in tutoring techniques and may involve hours spent outside the center serving as a Learning Assistant in related courses.

• Three certification levels:
  Level 1 (basic training), Level 2 (metacognitive and psychosocial requirements), Level 3 (holistic view of learning center management and student development theories). Each level comes with a rate increase.
• Completion of Level 3 qualifies for advancement to Lead Tutor, carrying increased pay and responsibilities, including direct tutoring support and assistance to the Tutoring Coordinator with center management, staff mentorship, and implementation of training.

• Must be a WSU student.
• Must have earned a B or better in the courses you propose to tutor.
• A strong working knowledge of the subject matter you will be tutoring.
• Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
• Must complete Levels I & II of tutor CRLA training.

• Preferred:
  Ability to tutor many different courses.

• Pay Grade:
  Hourly Pay Rate $14.50.
• Hours per week: 7-20.
