Responsibilities of the Precision Welding and Brazing Program Lead include, but are not limited to:

• Develop, update, and maintain curriculum aligned with industry and accreditation standards.
• Oversee daily program operations, ensuring qualified staffing and high-quality instruction.
• Prepare budget requests, manage program budgets, and handle approved purchasing of supplies and equipment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for program operations, faculty, and students.
• Prepare accreditation documents and ensure ongoing compliance with accreditation requirements.
• Track and report student completion, placement, and licensure outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local companies employing machinists.
• Plan, lead, and document annual advisory board meetings with industry partners.
• Grade student work and provide ongoing feedback and support.
• Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and industry trends.
• Monitor student progress and attendance; develop Student Success Plans when appropriate.
• Track and file student Completion and Placement reports quarterly.

W e're seeking professionals who are passionate about teaching and committed to excellence. Successful candidates will have:

• Education: A high school diploma or the equivalent. Have a certificate or associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology from an accredited institution,
• Experience: A minimum of five years of industry experience. Teaching experience preferred.

  Skills:
  
  Must be a Certified Welding Inspector, and posess all welding certifications for the subject area taught. Must be proficient in laser, cobot, and robot welding.

  Competencies:
  
  Must have an awareness of current industry trends and tools, as well as ongoing continuing education.
• Organizational Abilities: Strong skills in time management and organization to efficiently manage program operations, student records, and instructional responsibilities.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to track student progress, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
