** ABOUT THIS POSITION
** In this role, the Senior Systems Engineer will provide administration, design, and development support in our diverse, fast-paced, and growing environment. The Senior Systems Engineer will also analyze system performance, perform system health checks, and collaborate with various stakeholders to sustain and enhance the scalability of our products. This role provides plenty of opportunities for personal growth and development, while interacting with a positive, open team that is supportive of continued knowledge sharing and team advancement.
** WHAT YOU'LL DO
*** Deploy and maintain core services that power our SaaS platform (Rabbit

MQ, Mirth, In-memory databases, Splunk, and various others)
* Demonstrated interest in technology and enthusiasm for adapting to an evolving ecosystem
* Eager to learn new technologies and train others
* Operationalizes new technologies introduced into the environment
* Ability to effectively communicate and guide Application Engineering teams
* Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, integrity, and personal responsibility
* Fulfill support requests in a timely and professional manner
* Can effectively troubleshoot and resolve live production issues
* Participates in an on-call response rotation (24x7 environment)
* Automation of routine tasks
* Conduct performance analysis and tuning
* Works with leadership to identify and prioritize work
* Additional duties as assigned
* Ability to demonstrate creative thinking, advanced problem-solving, and troubleshooting
* Knowledge of high-availability solutions and experience in a highly transactional environment
* Understanding and appreciation for system security
* Ability to perform change/code reviews and communicate feedback to teams
* Understanding of data recovery from backup/restore
** WHAT YOU'LL NEED
*** Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
* 4+ years’ experience in a relevant technical field is required
* 2+ years’ experience with Rabbit
