Position: Client Relationship Consultant 3 (Banker) - UT-Lehi Smith's (38hrs)

Job Description

Client Relationship Consultant builds relationships with customers across multiple channels, providing counsel while adopting a digital‑first mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Engage customers in‑person, by appointment, and virtually to assess and attend to their banking needs.
  • Obtain and process customer and account information, and demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services.
  • Recommend solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs.
  • Build and foster relationships through proactive outreach, follow‑up, and learning about clients’ financial needs and channel preferences.
  • Identify solutions for new and existing clients by effectively engaging and communicating with them.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital offerings.
  • Provide a consistent optimal client experience, greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members to best serve clients.
  • Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
  • Proactively educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products and services to meet their financial needs.
  • Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and deliver operational excellence and accuracy.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Typically has a minimum of four to five years of job‑related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services.
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in participating in sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
  • Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital‑first mindset.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
Compensation

Salary range: $21.94 – $26.82 per hour.
