Head of Commercial Finance

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key strategic thought partner to executive leadership
• Shape critical business decisions across pricing, monetization, channel strategy, and long‑term growth across the organization’s commercial operations
• Partner with executive, commercial, and sales leadership to provide guidance on pricing, monetization, channel strategy, and contract reviews
• Lead the Pricing team, including financial review of new deals, expansions, and renegotiations
• Own, refine and improve Pattern’s financial deal model
• Develop and mentor the Commercial Finance team, fostering a data‑driven and collaborative environment

• 10‑15+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in a commercial finance leadership role, preferably within fast‑paced, omnichannel retail or e‑commerce environments
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred
• Combines strategic leadership with a hands‑on approach, actively engaging in the details while setting the standard through personal example
• Exceptional analytical and soft skills, with a proven track record of translating complex data into actionable insights and influencing executive decisions through strong communication, collaboration, and leadership
• Thrives in a fast‑paced culture, enjoys problem solving, and uses data to sift through the noise
• Curiosity regarding AI, automation, and emerging commerce trends
