The United States Marine Corps (USMC) is a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces that provides rapid, expeditionary power projection on land, at sea, and in the air. Working closely with the U.S. Navy, the Marine Corps is designed to respond quickly to crises and support national defense objectives worldwide. It is one of four armed service branches within the U.S. Department of Defense and one of seven uniformed services of the United States.
Marines serve in a wide range of operational and support roles, offering applicants structured career paths, advanced training, and leadership development opportunities.
A Marine Corps Officer leads Marines in training and operational environments to accomplish assigned missions and uphold Marine Corps standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and directing unit activities, supervising and mentoring personnel, managing resources, and ensuring readiness for deployments and exercises. Officers participate in physical training, professional military education, and coordination with other units and services to support mission planning and execution.
This program is operated out of Salt Lake City, and encompasses interested applicants out of southern Idaho, Utah, and Nevada
