Job Description:

The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) is responsible for conducting patient assessments, creating care plans, implementing and evaluating therapy plans, and revising them as necessary. The role includes performing diagnostic testing such as ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, cardiac tests, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry, as well as transporting patients within the hospital or between facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and create care plans.
• Perform diagnostic testing including ABG's, PFT's, EKG's, cardiac, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry.
• Transport patients within the hospital or between facilities.

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP).
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS.
• 1 year of respiratory therapy experience, preferred.
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred.
• Ability to provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours per department and/or facility policy.
