HR Generalist / Talent Management, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Utah, Onsite
Job-Type: Contract
Pay Range: $35 – $40/hr.
We are seeking an HR Generalist to support a broad range of human resources functions and serve as a trusted resource for employees, managers, and corporate business partners. This role will support onboarding, payroll inquiries, employee relations, HR administration, compliance, employee engagement, and day-to-day HR operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, processes, and programs.
- Support new-hire onboarding and orientation, including employee file and system administration.
- Assist with payroll questions, unemployment claims, and verification of employment (VOE) requests.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding performance management, talent management, and employee relations.
- Assist with workplace dispute resolution and recommend appropriate courses of action.
- Support employee engagement, recognition, and coworker assistance programs.
- Maintain recurring HR reports.
- Monitor and maintain administrative trackers, including area management auto-insurance requirements.
- Process and route incoming mail and HR-related correspondence.
- Handle HR emails, including general inquiries and corrective-action documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
- Perform other HR duties and projects as assigned.
Skills:
- 3+ years of relevant HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of core HR functions, policies, and employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Workday or another HRIS and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees, managers, and business partners.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving and customer-service orientation.
