The Opportunity
Amplēo HR is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive HR professional to join our Client-Facing Team as an HR Specialist. This is an entry point into fractional HR consulting -- you'll support senior HR Partners across a portfolio of client engagements, getting exposure to the full range of HR work that comes with serving multiple organizations at once.
You'll work behind the scenes and occasionally directly with clients, depending on the scope of each engagement. Either way, you'll never be far from real work. At Amplēo, there's no busy work for its own sake.
You'll work alongside senior HR Partners and a Deal Partner who provide oversight and context as you build your consulting instincts, with access to the Amplēo Toolbox of proprietary frameworks, templates, and playbooks.
This role is for someone early in their HR career who is hungry to learn fast, comfortable with variety, and ready to support work that actually matters to the businesses we serve.
Your Standard:Operating as an Investment
Every Amplēo consultant, at every level, is evaluated against a single distinction: are we an investment, or are we an expense?
An investment finds the work before being asked, proposes solutions to risks the client hasn't noticed, treats a silent inbox as a signal to dig deeper, and presents ready-to-sign work rather than new questions. The CEO never has to manage the HR function.
An expense waits for assignments, answers only the questions asked, treats a quiet client as "everything is fine," and hands tasks back for the client to review and approve.
Investments don't get cut. Expenses do. Every responsibility below assumes you are operating as an investment, regardless of which level you join at.
Who You AreYou are organized, dependable, and take pride in getting the details right. You understand that in a consulting environment, accuracy and follow-through aren't just nice to have -- they're what keep client relationships intact.
You're comfortable working across multiple priorities at once and don't need everything handed to you. You ask good questions when you need direction, but you don't wait to be told what to do next when the answer is obvious.
You're early in your HR career and you know it -- but you're not passive about it. You're here to learn, to contribute, and to grow into the kind of HR professional who can walk into any client and own the room.
You bring a client-first mindset even when you're working behind the scenes. You understand that the work you do -- the accurate data, the smooth onboarding, the timely communication -- is what makes everything else possible.
What You'll Do Day-to-Day Client DeliveryOn any given day, you might be coordinating a new hire's onboarding for one client while drafting a job posting for another. The work is operational and detail-driven, and it matters -- because the HR Partners you support are only as effective as the foundation you help build.
