Local SEO Specialist About the Role
Vivint is looking for a Local SEO Specialist to grow our presence in local search across key markets. This role is responsible for increasing visibility, engagement, lead generation, and end-to-end customer acquisition across our local channels, with a focus on Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization, citation management, and review programs.
You’ll use data, experimentation, and an understanding of evolving search behavior — including AI-driven search experiences — to continuously improve performance and drive meaningful business impact.
What You’ll Do- Execute local SEO strategies to improve rankings, visibility, and conversions across Vivint’s markets.
- Optimize location-based landing pages to better capture local search demand.
- Conduct localized keyword research and maintain keyword tracking.
- Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP), including categories, attributes, posts, photos, and service areas, mange vendor relationships.
- Maintain accurate and consistent local citations across third-party platforms.
- Manage review solicitation programs to increase review volume, recency, and ratings, and support response workflows.
- Monitor and analyze performance across local rankings, organic traffic, GBP engagement, and conversions.
- Create clear weekly and monthly performance reports tied to business outcomes.
- Stay current on changes in local search, AI-driven search experiences, and SERP features to inform strategy improvements.
- Experience executing local SEO programs, preferably at scale.
- Hands-on experience with Google Business Profiles, citations, and review management.
- Strong understanding of local keyword research and on-page optimization.
- Experience with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Bright Edge, or similar platforms.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with performance data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
