About The Role

Our client, a leading organization in the clean‑energy and residential services industry, is seeking an IT Provisioning Technician to support its corporate workforce. This position plays a vital role in ensuring all new corporate employees receive properly prepared, secure, and fully functional equipment. The role is based at the client’s corporate offices and focuses heavily on device imaging, equipment preparation, and the end‑to‑end provisioning lifecycle.

This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented technician who enjoys hands‑on hardware work, process‑driven operations, and modern Windows deployment technologies. You will work within a collaborative IT team committed to operational excellence, innovation, and exceptional end‑user support.

In this role, the IT Provisioning Technician will support internal systems, hardware, and applications while partnering with other technical teams to ensure smooth onboarding and minimal disruption to business operations. Responsibilities include imaging and preparing devices, coordinating equipment shipments, supporting incoming technical requests, and maintaining accurate documentation.

• Act as the first point of contact for employee technical support via phone, chat, email, and remote tools
• Manage ticket workflows for equipment provisioning, new‑hire setups, and returned hardware
• Prepare, package, and ship corporate equipment for new employees following defined provisioning procedures
• Create and maintain documentation related to provisioning activities, workflows, and imaging processes
• Communicate effectively with employees across diverse roles and technical skill levels
• Provide clear escalation notes, troubleshooting summaries, and audit‑ready documentation
• Adhere to security standards and operational controls to protect company devices and data

• Experience creating and maintaining “Gold Images” for various hardware models using SCCM, MECM/SCCM, MDT, or similar tools
• Ability to test and integrate Windows updates, security patches, and drivers into deployment pipelines
• Experience with Autopilot or other automated/zero‑touch provisioning technologies
• Application packaging experience (e.g., Office 365, VPN clients, security tools)
• Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 architecture and troubleshooting
• Experience with imaging tools such as SCCM, MDT, Smart Deploy, or Acronis
• Basic networking knowledge (DHCP, PXE boot, DNS)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly document technical work

• Experience supporting enterprise onboarding or high‑volume provisioning operations
• Familiarity with IT asset management practices
• Previous work in a corporate help desk or IT support environment
• Knowledge of endpoint security tools and enterprise configuration standards
