Position SummaryReef is seeking a Hub Spot CRM and Marketing Automation Specialist to drive revenue growth by designing and operating end‑to‑end automated marketing programs. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, and data—owning the lifecycle marketing strategy across email and SMS channels to support customer acquisition, conversion, engagement, and retention goals. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Hub Spot Marketing Hub and CRM, a strong analytical mindset, and a track record of building scalable workflows, segmentation strategies, and personalization programs.
You will partner closely with sales, digital, product, content, and analytics teams to design event‑triggered messaging, optimize the lead lifecycle, and turn campaign performance data into measurable improvements in conversion and ROI.
- Develop and maintain complex Hub Spot workflows—email nurturing, lead scoring, internal task creation, and data updates—to automate marketing actions and reduce manual work.
- Design, build, and optimize automated lifecycle journeys (in Hub Spot and platforms such as Twilio, where applicable), including triggered messaging and multi‑step Canvas‑style workflows.
- Build and continuously optimize welcome journeys, abandoned enrollment flows, post‑purchase onboarding, retention journeys, and reactivation campaigns.
- Partner with Digital and Product teams to define event‑triggered messaging architecture supporting enrollment, onboarding, loyalty adoption, and retention.
- Maintain, segment, and continually clean the Hub Spot database to ensure accurate reporting and personalized targeting.
- Align with sales to streamline the lead lifecycle, ensuring seamless handoff, timely follow‑up, and clear ownership across stages.
- Develop segmentation and personalization strategies that improve message relevance, deliverability, and performance across lifecycle programs.
- Create, test, and deploy automated email campaigns, SMS programs, forms, and landing pages.
- Create, refine lifecycle messaging, and modify email templates as needed to support speed and performance optimization.
- Maintain lifecycle campaign calendars aligned with global product launches, promotions, and enrollment initiatives.
- Support sender reputation and deliverability best practices across email and SMS programs.
- Analyze lifecycle and campaign performance data to iterate, optimize, and translate insights into actionable strategies that improve ROI.
- Develop and execute structured A/B and multivariate testing strategies across lifecycle messaging.
- Monitor lifecycle KPIs and provide reporting and recommendations to stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with design, content, analytics, digital, and regional teams to develop scalable lifecycle automation programs.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations including CAN‑SPAM, GDPR (where applicable), and SMS consent requirements.
- Stay current on lifecycle marketing, personalization strategy, and marketing automation platform capabilities to continuously improve performance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field.
- 3‑4+ years in marketing automation, marketing operations, or lifecycle marketing roles, with a track record of owning automated programs end‑to‑end.
- Expert‑level knowledge of Hub Spot Marketing Hub (Professional or Enterprise) and Hub Spot CRM, including workflows, lead scoring, lists, and reporting.
- Hub Spot Marketing Software Certification, Hub Spot Marketing Automation Certification, or Hub Spot Inbound Certification are preferred.
- Deep understanding of inbound marketing principles, customer journey mapping, and lifecycle/life stage management.
- Proficiency in analyzing campaigns and funnel data to drive decisions and optimize performance; comfort with dashboards, attribution, and conversion metrics.
