Job Overview

We need an Ecommerce Regulatory Specialist to safeguard Pattern's marketplace presence by managing compliance across global ecommerce platforms, product categories, and regulatory frameworks. This is a full-time role with a hybrid schedule based in Lehi, UT.

Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Screen products for compliance across global ecommerce marketplaces—reviewing labels, formulations, claims, and certifications against requirements for each target market.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of international regulatory requirements spanning global markets (Americas, EU, MENA, APAC), ecommerce platforms, fulfillment models, and high-risk product categories.
  • Oversee compliance projects by vetting and managing third‑party regulatory agencies, coordinating with brands and internal teams, and holding partners accountable to timelines and quality standards.
  • Manage company licensing for Pattern's Canadian warehouse, including site licenses, MDELs, and QA processes for imported products.
  • Develop and own regulatory compliance SOPs, train cross‑functional teams and brands, and assess risk to inform business expansion decisions across new markets and platforms.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years' minimum regulatory compliance experience in a high-risk product category covering US and international requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, and apply global regulations; proven research, risk assessment, and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong judgment and a commitment to ethics.
  • Preferred: experience with dietary supplements/VMS, cosmetics, OTC drugs, or children's products in EU, UK, CA, CN, or AU markets.
  • Preferred: experience submitting product registrations or applications to regulatory bodies (FDA, Health Canada, EPA, CPSC, etc.).
Performance Expectations
  • You proactively maintain a current knowledge base of global regulations and flag compliance risks before they impact product listings or account health.
  • You independently manage compliance projects end-to-end—screening products, coordinating third parties, and keeping all stakeholders on timeline.
  • You develop clear SOPs and effectively train cross-functional teams and brand partners on compliance workflows.
  • You accurately assess marketplace and regulatory risk, enabling confident and data-informed business expansion decisions.

As the company scales across 60+ global marketplaces, you'll have the opportunity to shape the compliance function, influence business strategy, and collaborate with legal, operations, and business development teams worldwide.
