Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Founder's Associate, Office of the CEO

Podium is hiring an AI-pilled, social media-savvy Content Writer to amplify our CEO’s social media presence and build a founder-led content program.

The primary output is founder content, published regularly on our owned social channels. You’ll develop a point of view on what’s trending in AI and the local business market, learn our CEO’s voice, immerse in what’s going on at Podium and translate it into posts, threads, and narratives that position Podium as the go-to voice in applied AI. You will build an AI-native content machine that earns attention and credibility from the audiences that matter: ICP SMB owners, mid‑market operators, tech and business media, and investors.

Over time, that presence will drive market confidence and become a sales accelerant via inbound interest, deal credibility, and category authority that no paid channel can replicate.

This is a high visibility, high accountability role that requires a candidate that exercises extreme ownership, thrives in ambiguity and a fast paced environment.

What you’ll be doing
  • Write and publish a consistent drumbeat of high-impact,
founder-led content on Linked In, X, and other owned channels. This is the core job.
  • Shadow our CEO. Talk to customers. Interview front-line employees and company leaders to capture raw material and transform it into social‑optimized content at a high velocity.
  • Build and deploy AI agents and workflows to monitor what’s being said across channels, surface relevant trends, capture insights from meeting transcripts and customer conversations, and feed the content pipeline.
  • Develop a distinct founder voice and a narrative that demonstrates Podium’s credibility, expertise and differentiation. Help develop us as a category‑defining voice in applied AI.
  • Obsessively follow trends in AI (utilizing this heavily yourself), SaaS, SMB, and the verticals Podium serves to stay in tune with the most timely topics and what will drive engagement.
  • Actively engage on relevant industry posts and threads across Linked In and X to drive awareness, grow our audience, and keep Podium in the right conversations.
  • Write long‑form content when needed: essays, op‑eds, bylines that build category authority.
  • Maintain a messaging framework that keeps the voice consistent across contexts.
  • Build a content backlog and editorial rhythm so output never gaps.
  • Work with marketing and sales to support moments worth amplifying—product launches, customer stories, category‑defining data.
  • Optimize content for social to generate inbound interest from the audiences that matter: buyers, partners, investors, and press.
What you should have
  • 2+ years in executive communications, content (editorial/technical/organic social), executive‑facing roles (chief of staff, EA) or product.
  • Exceptional writer and storyteller: able to produce sharp hooks, long‑form POVs, and a resonant narrative. Fluency with social media best practices a plus.
  • Deep AI fluency: understands the tools, the conversation, the zeitgeist; actively uses AI in their own workflows and is genuinely excited to build agents and automations around content.
  • Extreme ownership bias and proactivity. Hungry to scale impact at high velocity.
  • High executive presence: can sit in a room with our CEO, ask good questions, and develop story angles that are relevant and provocative.
  • Can transform raw material into a steady stream of high‑impact content for a specific voice.
  • Very organized; can autonomously manage a social media calendar, reporting, and content generation steps to take full ownership of the performance of social channels.
  • High output and low ego—can produce a lot, take feedback, iterate fast, and not be precious about drafts.
