Position Overview
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Cyber Software Engineer (Job #16498-1) located in Roy, Utah to support the Sentinel program. The role focuses on developing software for the Command & Launch (C & L) Software Team using Dev Ops and Agile methodologies to optimize system and service security, automation, and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, test, and deploy software solutions for the C & L team.
- Implement continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Ensure solutions adhere to baseline system designs, configuration management, and architecture standards.
- Collaborate with program personnel to maintain smooth execution of continuous integration and testing processes.
- Apply government cyber security requirements such as STIGs and RM to software development.
- Staff Cyber Systems Engineer with 12+ years experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field OR equivalent experience (see scaling guideline).
- Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application.
- U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) approval.
- DOD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ or higher).
- Windows server management experience.
- Strong background in network, cyber requirements systems engineering, and network engineering.
- Top Secret clearance or recent investigation.
- Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification.
- Experience with Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban).
- Proficiency with Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Experience with Windows AD, LDAP, VMware, SAN storage, and virtual environment system imaging.
Salary range: $ - $ (subject to individual qualification and market factors). Additional InformationRelocation assistance may be available. The position requires travel of approximately 10% of the time.
