As a Medicaid Systems Transition Manager, you will play a crucial role in upgrading Medicaid Management Information Systems and ensuring seamless service integration.
Responsibilities- Serve as liaison to the customer for design, development, implementation, and certification, as well as maintenance, modification, and enhancement activities during transitions.
- Collaborate with other teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration of services.
- Follow all approved plans, procedures, and protocol guides.
- Manage project and scope coordination during development, deployment, integration and certification.
- Plan project schedules and provision of resources.
- Lead other project managers during transitions.
- Five or more years of IT experience, including at least four years managing multi‑supplier projects or similar complex integration efforts, preferably on state government contracts.
- Two or more years of experience with Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit, Outcomes Based Certification, Streamlined Modular Certification, or related certification efforts.
- Working knowledge of Medicaid Transformation Initiative, Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) 3.0, and the CMS Seven Standards and Conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- PMP Certification or equivalent.
Work Arrangements:
