Reports to: VP, Production & CIO or System Administrator
Schedule / Shift: Monday – Friday; EST Day Hours; 37.5 hours per week

Position SummaryThis role manages network administration support for servers, desktop systems, hardware/software, and office systems, while advising on information security technologies and influencing policy and strategy.
Position Responsibilities- Network administration and preventive maintenance (firewalls, servers, backup, security management, user account management, email accounts, server configuration, internet access, office systems and applications support).
- Monitor IT network to ensure availability for all users.
- Follow security trends and stay abreast of technology changes.
- Roll out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources.
- Assist with technology planning through ongoing research.
- Align IT risk management within IT productivity objectives.
- Perform technology needs analysis.
- Knowledge of MS365 environment, Outlook, SharePoint, and One Drive.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education/Experience- Education or solid knowledge of computer networking.
- At least 2 years experience managing and monitoring IT networks/security, server administration, operating systems and/or hardware.
- 2 years experience handling mid-large size organization IT support to include Microsoft 365, Windows Operating System, Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM is preferred.
- Active Listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Reading Comprehension – Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Writing – Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Influencing skills and the ability to present complex situations in a clear and simple way.
- Speaking – Talking to others to convey information effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Other languages are an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, One Drive, SharePoint) both in deployment and administration.
- Experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, patch management.
- Working knowledge of WAN/LAN/WIFI technology, Windows scripting/logging/auditing, encryption.
- Linux experience a plus.
