Position Summary
Riley Blake Designs manufactures and distributes high-quality quilting fabrics and notions. We require a Part-Time Office Custodian, where your attention to detail and dedication to maintaining a clean, well-organized work environment will play an essential role in shaping the overall atmosphere of our office. As our facilities support, you will ensure a healthy, safe, and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of office spaces.
- Maintain cleanliness and disinfection in common areas such as kitchens, restrooms, and the break room.
- Ensure office supplies, such as paper towels, soap, and other hygiene products, are stocked and available.
- Remove trash materials appropriately.
- Identify and report maintenance issues or repairs needed in the facility.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and practices to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience is a plus. Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
Work Schedule:
- Part-time hours are available, primarily over evenings to minimize disruption to office activities—possibility of some flexibility on Friday.
