Lehi Family Search Building - Compensation: $18.00/hr + $1.00/hr differential
- Must be willing to work rotating weekends (every 7th Saturday) and events and holidays as scheduled
- This is a part‑time position without medical benefits
- Please note:
This position does not qualify for students required to work on the Ensign College Campus.
- Sanitize public areas, offices, and restrooms, daily or as instructed (yes this means cleaning toilets, but it’s not usually that bad)
- Dust or polish furnishings, light fixtures, windowsills, wood paneling, etc.
- Spot clean carpets, rugs, and upholstery, restock supplies, remove leaves or snow, and dispose of trash, waste, and other materials.
- Attend meetings and trainings crafted to increase your knowledge and abilities.
- Operate mechanized cleaning equipment, vacuums, buffers, large scrubbers and sweepers, and extraction equipment, etc. (we’ll provide equipment training)
- Perform emergency cleanups including floods, bodily fluids, spills, etc.
- Report safety or security issues and needed repairs.
- Hardworking individuals who can independently lift and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop, push, pull, twist, bend, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods of time.
- Ability to complete vital tasks and handle basic issues and solve problems professionally.
- Capability to work alone without constant supervision but also to strengthen teams.
- Experience with various cleaning solvents and chemicals, and compliance with all regulations for safe handling of chemicals, ability to work in damp, dusty, and/or dirty areas.
- Proficiency in reading, comprehending, and communicating in English for video training, building security, and safety purposes, including asking clarifying questions as needed.
Any previous experience or knowledge of custodial practices is welcomed but not required.
