Overview
Oversees Data Center Operations across multiple data centers, managing and integrating team performance, operations metrics, and capacity analysis into the broader business line strategy. Directs multiple teams in supporting escalated technical issues, crisis management, and root cause analysis, while standardizing processes and maintaining an accurate knowledge base. Leads new region builds and expansion activities, acting as a senior liaison with project and engineering teams to manage timelines, capacity, and ensure adherence to world-class standards.
Guides teams responsible for installations, repairs, inventory, and logistics, enforces standards for component replacements and upgrades, recommends significant purchases, and implements advanced maintenance strategies to optimize data center efficiency and stability.
- Data Center Site Portfolio Management:
Oversees Data Center Operations team across multiple data centers. - Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
Oversees multiple teams, integrates operations metrics into broader business line strategy; directs performance evaluations; supervises analysis of physical, power, and cooling capacity; guides collaboration for continuous improvement and mentors team members. - Issue Management and Automation:
Directs teams providing support for escalated complex technical issues; proposes and implements strategies for issue triage and leverages automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools to prevent and resolve problems; standardizes issues, processes, and solutions, ensuring consistent knowledge base documentation; guides incident or crisis management protocols aligned with business continuity plans; leads Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and updates documentation. - Data Center Expansion Support:
Oversees new region builds and expansion activities, onsite and remotely; serves as senior liaison with project teams and data center engineering to manage timelines and capacity for expansion projects and site builds; collaborates with project teams to uphold world-class standards. - Installation and Maintenance:
Leads teams in installations, repairs, inventory management, and logistics; creates and enforces standards for component replacements and upgrades; recommends and oversees significant purchases or upgrades; coordinates rack deployments and network infrastructure upgrades/changes; implements maintenance strategies for efficiency and stability. - Planning & Execution:
Manages medium- to large-scale projects across teams; ensures timelines, deliverables, and budgets where applicable; provides direction on project work and guides adjustments due to resource or timeline changes. - Collaboration & Partnership:
Drives cross-functional partnerships; coaches teams to build strategic relationships with leaders and stakeholders; promotes inclusivity and diverse perspectives. - Problem Solving:
Provides guidance on addressing complex operational and/or technical issues; analyzes data to identify solutions and reviews unresolved issues to determine potential improvements. - Continuous Learning:
Encourages ongoing learning to deepen expertise and stay ahead of industry trends; identifies skill gaps and supports opportunities for learning and knowledge sharing. - Continuous Improvement:
Leads efforts to improve processes, protocols, and workflows; encourages adoption of new ideas and requests feedback for ongoing enhancement. - Performance and Development:
Provides feedback and coaching; manages development goals and talent pipelines, including interviews and advancement opportunities.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to stated locations. US Hiring Range in USD: 120, per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
