ABOUT THIS POSITION
Waystar is seeking a strategic, client-focused leader to serve as Director, Solution Adoption - Clearinghouse. This role is responsible for leading a team of managers, consultants, and implementation professionals who drive the successful onboarding, activation, adoption, & optimization of Waystar's Clearinghouse solutions.
The Director will be accountable for delivering exceptional client outcomes, developing high-performing teams, ensuring predictable revenue realization, & driving operational excellence across a portfolio of enterprise healthcare clients. This leader must balance people development, client success, and business performance while partnering cross-functionally with Product, PMO, Advisory Services, Client Success, Sales, & Executive Leadership.
This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong executive presence, healthcare revenue cycle expertise, & a passion for developing people & building scalable operating models.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Leadership & Talent DevelopmentLead, coach, & develop managers and consultants across the Clearinghouse Solution Adoption organization.
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration, & continuous improvement.
Drive employee engagement, retention, succession planning, & leadership development initiatives.
Recruit, develop, & retain top implementation & consulting talent.
Serve as a role model for Waystar's values & leadership principles.
Client Success & Delivery ExecutionOwn successful implementation, activation, stabilization, & adoption of Clearinghouse solutions for enterprise clients.
Ensure clients achieve measurable business outcomes & realize value from their Waystar investment.
Serve as an executive escalation point for critical client situations.
Partner directly with client executives to build trusted relationships & align on strategic objectives.
Drive execution excellence across project planning, configuration, testing, activation, & stabilization activities.
Business & Financial PerformanceAccountable for:
Client Satisfaction, Revenue Realization, Activation Success, Resource Utilization, Backlog Management, Employee Engagement, Delivery Predictability.
Monitor key operational & financial metrics and proactively address risks.
Partner with leadership to improve forecasting accuracy & resource planning.
Strategic Planning & Operational ExcellenceDevelop workforce & capacity plans that support business growth & delivery commitments.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline operations, & enhance the client experience.
Lead initiatives that improve scalability, consistency, & execution across the organization.
Partner with Product & Client Success leaders to improve cross-functional engagement models & reduce operational friction.
Cross-Functional LeadershipCollaborate with Product, PMO, Advisory Services, Client Success, Sales, Support, & Transformation teams.
Influence decisions & drive alignment across organizations without direct authority.
Represent Solution Adoption in executive discussions regarding client commitments, delivery strategies, & organizational priorities.
WHAT YOU'LL NEEDRequired
- 8+ years of healthcare technology, healthcare operations, or revenue cycle leadership experience.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience, including managing managers.
- Experience leading enterprise implementations or client-facing delivery organizations.
- Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle workflows.
- Proven ability to manage executive-level client relationships & escalations.
- Demonstrated success leading teams through growth, change, & transformation.
Preferred
- Experience with Clearinghouse, Eligibility, Claims, Remittance, EDI, or Revenue Cycle technologies.
- Knowledge of Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or other major provider technologies.
- SaaS implementation or professional services leadership experience.
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
