We are seeking a dedicated Bronze Chaser to join our foundry team. This role focuses on assembling, cleaning, and finishing bronze art castings. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand, an eye for detail, and a respect for the craftsmanship. This is full-time work, Monday through Thursday (four 10-hour shifts), with paid holidays and paid vacation.
ResponsibilitiesChase, clean, and finish bronze castings using traditional and modern tools
Fit, weld, and assemble casting components as needed
Remove sprues, blend seams, and refine surface details
Work closely with patina, mold, and welding departments to ensure quality and consistency
Maintain equipment and workspace in a safe, organized manner
Handle artwork with care and respect throughout all stages of finishing
Follow established procedures while contributing constructive improvements when appropriate
QualificationsExperience in metal chasing, welding, grinding, or related metalwork preferred (will train the right candidate)
Strong attention to detail and steady hand skills
Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy castings safely
Comfortable with grinders, hand tools, sanders, and basic shop equipment
Commitment to craftsmanship, reliability, and teamwork
Willingness to learn and apply traditional bronze finishing techniques
Additional Information Additional Info- Work schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts (four-tens) - Paid vacation and paid holidays included after waiting period
