Role Overview
Lendio's Growth Marketing team is hiring a Senior Paid Media Manager to take ownership of paid search across our SMB borrower marketplace. This high‑visibility role will cover a transition from our Director of SMB Acquisition and can grow into a permanent senior leadership position. Contract period:
August 2026 – April 2027.
- Own Google Ads and Bing Ads strategy, structure, bidding, budget pacing, and performance optimization for a seven‑figure monthly spend portfolio.
- Manage and continuously improve the conversion data feeding into the platforms (offline conversions, enhanced conversions, value‑based bidding inputs) in partnership with the conversion feed partner agency, marketing/BI ops, and data engineering.
- Own search channel reporting (MQLs, offer volume, MER, CPA) and translate performance into clear narratives for leadership.
- Work closely with Marketing Ops/Automation, Affiliates, and the broader SMB growth team to align strategy.
- Identify and test incremental search opportunities, including PMax structure, new match type strategies, bid strategies, partner network adjustments, and creative testing with the internal CRO partner to improve post‑click conversion.
- Potential to manage other performance marketing managers as the role matures.
- 5‑7+ years of hands‑on paid search management with deep, current expertise in Google Ads and Bing Ads.
- Proven experience managing accounts with monthly spend exceeding $1M (seven figures), ideally across multiple campaign types (Search, PMax, GDN, You Tube).
- Direct, hands‑on experience optimizing conversion feeds and data quality for ad platforms.
- Strong creative testing background and frameworks.
- Strong grasp of bidding strategy and budget allocation at scale across a portfolio of campaigns.
- Comfortable owning a channel independently with minimal day‑to‑day oversight.
- Experience in financial services, especially SMB lending, B2B fintech, or small‑business focused financial products.
- Familiarity with lead‑gen / marketplace business models where conversion happens off‑platform (form fill → MQL → application → funded loan).
- Experience working with attribution/tracking infrastructure (server‑side tracking, CAPI, offline conversion pipelines).
- Experience managing or mentoring junior paid media specialists.
- Familiarity with Hub Spot, GA4, Snowflake, or similar marketing/lifecycle tooling.
- Comfort working in a fast‑moving team with shifting channel mix and test budgets.
$120k – $140k.
