Director of Nursing (RN) — Utah County, Utah

Avista Senior Living is expanding our footprint throughout the Utah County area, and we're looking for a dynamic, experienced Director of Nursing (RN) to help lead this exciting growth. This unique opportunity allows you to bring your clinical leadership skills to a new community and shape a culture of exceptional care from the ground up.

As Director of Nursing, you will oversee all clinical operations, lead a team of dedicated nursing professionals, and ensure the highest standards of resident care and regulatory compliance. You will play a key role in building strong systems, mentoring staff, and fostering a supportive, resident-centered environment as we grow in the Utah County market.

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for nursing operations
• Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff to build a high-performing team
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including survey readiness
• Develop and implement care plans in partnership with residents, families, and physicians
• Monitor quality indicators and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with the Executive Director and interdisciplinary team on operational goals
• Manage nursing department budget, staffing, and scheduling

• Active Utah RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 3‑5 years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in senior living, skilled nursing, or assisted living
• Experience with Point Click Care Strong knowledge of state regulations and survey processes
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• A passion for senior care and building strong teams
