Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our busy family medicine clinic. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a diverse patient population, possess excellent clinical skills, and thrive in a high-energy setting. Essential Job Functions:- Perform comprehensive assessments, including physical exams and patient histories.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions across all age groups.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests.
- Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-management of chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
- Document patient interactions accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Participate in clinic meetings and continuous education opportunities to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Family Practice or similar.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Utah.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by a recognized certifying body (e.g., ANCC, AANP).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a family medicine or primary care setting preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic office software.
Hours: Monday - Friday and varied weekends.
