Analytical Resource Laboratories (ARL) is a third‑party contract laboratory specializing in microbiological and chemical testing of food, cosmetics, and dietary supplements. Established in 2000, ARL has been offering analytical testing services for 23 years and has partnered with Tentamus North America, Inc. and EuTech Scientific Services, Inc. to serve manufacturers, retailers, raw material providers, and consumers across the United States.
We are looking for a team member with a background in analytical chemistry, microbiology, biophysics, or a closely related field who is highly motivated, curious, meticulous, tech‑savvy, and possesses excellent communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate is a quick learner, proactive, and willing to wear multiple hats in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure laboratory environment. This is an excellent entry‑level position for individuals who love science and wish to gain valuable industry experience.
Expected work hours: 2 pm – 7 pm, Monday to Friday.
Job Description- Complete sample preparation and testing in a timely manner, according to approved SOPs and correct techniques.
- Classify and label samples according to established protocol.
- Clean and sterilize laboratory workspace and equipment.
- Provide support for lab‑specific waste management.
- Maintain proper laboratory records.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness at all times.
- Accountable and responsible for proper laboratory practices.
- Compliance with ARL standards and policies.
- Perform all duties and projects assigned by ARL leadership.
- Comply with all ARL workplace policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Adhere to all GLP, GMP, and ISO regulations as they pertain to the position’s functions and duties.
- Successfully complete all training, including skills and proficiency testing, within the required timeframe.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Work within a schedule that allows for testing to be completed and reported on time.
- Available to work five days a week and weekends if required.
- Abide by ARL’s drug testing, background check, and drug‑free policies.

- Currently matriculated in a four‑year institution of higher education majoring in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- General analytical chemistry laboratory experience required (1 year).
- Fluency in English is required.
- Must live within 50 miles of the location.
- Knowledge of the metric system, scientific applications, experimental design, and data evaluation.
- Ability to work in a GMP/GLP environment.
- Excellent ability to stay calm under pressure and focus on responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain and build team morale at all times.
- Ability to adapt professionally to changing demands.

Compensation rate depends on relevant industry experience.
