• Call drivers and transportation companies to confirm availability.
• Negotiate with shippers and carriers for the best possible rates.
• Manage daily shipments by ensuring they are accurately documented in the system and communicating to ensure they are picked up and delivered on time.
• Be honest and proactive in communication with customers and carriers to identify and resolve issues.
• Providing top‑tier customer service.
• Develop new carrier relationships and grow existing ones.

• Confident decision‑making skills.
• Ability to multitask by managing calls, emails, and messages while still achieving daily goals.
• Strong work ethic, self‑motivation, and sales drive.
• Basic computer skills.
• Prior sales experience preferred.
