Location& Travel
Field‑based sales position covering the Birmingham, Alabama territory, including Birmingham, Huntsville, and Tuscaloosa. Candidate must reside within the territory. Overnight travel may be required about 25% of the time. Travel requirements vary based on candidate’s location within the geography.
Primary Responsibilities- Demonstrate in‑depth product knowledge and create a compelling rationale for value, contrasting and positioning our brand versus competitors using appropriate resources.
- Act as primary contact for customers, meeting with key stakeholders to understand practice structure, business model, and influencers.
- Possess knowledge of cancer staging, treatment options, dosing schedules, and the impact of clinical trials across tumor types.
- Analyze and identify trends in the complex buying environment, evaluating patterns for products purchased and prescribed.
- Understand complex account interdependencies to develop short‑ and long‑term account plans, collaborating with the account team and supervisor.
- Influence beyond specific geography or product area by asking strategic questions to obtain customer needs and collaborating on customized strategy.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with extended customer team to ensure a consistent customer experience across company divisions and functional areas.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years sales experience or high school diploma with at least 10 years of equivalent experience.
- Equivalent experience includes professional sales, work in healthcare/scientific field (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices) not related to sales, professional marketing, or military experience.
- 2+ years oncology field sales experience.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a motor vehicle.
- Travel as required by the role.
- Documented strong performance in a sales/marketing or oncology clinical role.
- Clinical oncology experience across multiple solid tumors (Renal cell carcinoma – RCC, Prostate cancer).
