Each Business Development Specialist is a critical member of our production teams,responsible for:

• Identifying business opportunities with independent agents.
• Creating and nourishing profound and steadfast relationships with clients to create business placement opportunities.
• Developing sound marketing strategies for prospective as well as current customer base.
• Working with the production team(s) to build new individual relationships as well as enhance current relationships in the achievement of targeted submission and revenue goals.

Ideal team member would possess:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience and knowledge considered.
• History of being able to build trusted working relationships
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and negotiation skills are required.
• Independent judgement is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload.
• Critical attention to details.
• Proficient in Microsoft office including Power Point, Word, Outlook and Excel.
• State Licensing – where required
• Ability to travel on short notice; travel could be significant.
