Seasonal Sales Associate

About the Role

Minky Designs is hiring Seasonal Sales Associates for our holiday store at the Outlets at Traverse Mountain in Lehi. We're looking for friendly, dependable people who enjoy talking with customers and are motivated by sales.

This is a seasonal position running approximately November 1 through December 31, 2026.

• $14.00/hour base pay
• 5% commission on your individual sales
• Uncapped commission - the more you sell, the more you can earn

• Welcome and engage customers
• Learn our Minky blanket styles, sizes, and colors
• Help customers find the right products for themselves or for gifts
• Actively sell and work toward individual sales goals
• Process purchases accurately through our point-of-sale system
• Keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and visually appealing
• Replenish and organize inventory as needed
• Follow opening and closing procedures when assigned
• Provide an excellent customer experience from start to finish

• Friendly and comfortable starting conversations with customers
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Motivated by sales goals and commission
• Professional, trustworthy, and responsible
• Able to learn products quickly and make recommendations
• Previous retail or sales experience is helpful, but not required

Our holiday store operates seven days a week, and schedules will include weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Availability during Black Friday weekend and the weeks leading up to Christmas is especially important.
