Job SummaryPerforms preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. Reads, understands and interprets blueprints, drawings, floor plans, schedules, and manufacturer operating and/or maintenance specifications as they relate to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC and special equipment. Assists other maintenance personnel in the completion of work tasks including electricians, plumbers, maintenance technicians, etc. Responds to requests for routine and emergency maintenance and service from building occupants.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, floor plans, schedules, and manufacturer specifications.
- Assist other maintenance personnel (electricians, plumbers, maintenance technicians).
- Respond to routine and emergency maintenance requests from building occupants.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Utah Driver License.
Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
Environmental ConditionsThe worker will be subject to environmental, noise, hazard, and atmospheric conditions, including exposure to temperature changes, high heat, chemicals, fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, and poor ventilation. Conditions occur inside and outside the workplace.
