Sr. Software Development Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer for a Contract with a client in Lehi, UT (Remote). The candidate will develop and enhance software solutions while contributing to workflows and orchestration processes to support scalable system behavior.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $47/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Develop high‑quality software solutions using Python while contributing to scalable backend system design.
• Implement workflow or orchestration logic using platforms such as Temporal to support reliable system execution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate features with platforms like Service Now or similar systems.
• Contribute to frontend components where needed, leveraging experience with React to support UI workflows.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and apply strong problem‑solving skills to improve system performance and stability.
• Maintain clean, well‑structured code and participate in reviews to ensure overall engineering excellence.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8–10 years of software development experience, with strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience working with workflow/orchestration platforms such as Temporal or similar technologies.
• Ability to work across additional platforms or technologies such as Service Now, React, or MCP to support full‑stack or integrated development needs.

$45.00 to $47.00 per hour
