Observability Developer

Join a globally diverse team that builds and utilizes best‑of‑breed tools to deliver critical Observability services across Adobe.

Our team embodies Dev Ops. We craft new tools and UIs, maintain the largest logging deployment, and partner with other observability tools. We support Adobe’s engineering teams and each other.

We need a Developer to help build Adobe’s observability strategy.

• 3‑5+ years production‑level experience with distributed applications at scale in public and/or private cloud
• Experience architecting and implementing large‑scale Observability platforms
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Work in a diverse and distributed team environment

• Experience with internal logging systems like Splunk, Click House, Loki, Elastic, improving environment performance and stability
• AI agent development and integrating AI workflows into large‑scale deployments
• Programming experience with Go, Python; building integrations and applications for large‑scale Observability environments
• Designing and implementing systems for fault tolerance, scalability, and stability
• Developing, deploying, and running distributed applications on cloud platforms; experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Ensure highest level of uptime and QoS for Adobe customers through operational excellence
• Knowledge in defining SLOs and SLIs to measure service quality
• Experience with public/private cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, Data Center)
• Collaborate with SRE and Engineering/Product teams on critical initiatives
• Designing and maintaining production monitoring systems
• Solving performance and stability issues using varied tools
• Excellent communication across teams, driving projects to completion
• Impact organization through technical direction and strategic decisions

• Experience with Grafana, Cortex, Tempo, OTEL
• Experience with Open Telemetry community
• Familiar with cloud security and automation concepts
• Promote Dev Ops/SRE approach

Compensation: $114,100 – $214,950 annually (US).
