Title and Location
Software Engineer / Principal Software Engineer - Roy, Utah or Colorado Springs, CO. Supports the Sentinel program for the Integration and Test organization.

Clearance RequirementsClearance required:
Secret. Must have U.S. citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date within the last 6 years.
Travel required:
Yes, up to 10% of the time.
Standard work schedule is a 9/80 schedule (nine-hour day Monday through Thursday, every other Friday off).
Responsibilities- Design and define system architecture for new or existing Software Products.
- Develop Software in an agile development environment.
- Design automated test procedures for test execution teams.
- Work with a team of software developers to establish and develop automated tools.
- Develop Software Test Plans and Procedures for team software products.
- Software Engineer: 2 years experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field, 1 year with a Master’s, 0 years with a PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
- Principal Software Engineer: 5 years experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field, 3 years with a Master’s, 1 year with a PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
- U.S. citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance; must be able to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
- Experience with Agile and working in a cross-function Scrum team.
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence.
- Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Principles.
- Experience programming in object-oriented languages (C++, Python, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) languages (SysML/UML) and concepts.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
- Experience with Cameo, developing software architecture.
- Experience with UI design and development, or interpreting complex algorithms and requirements for implementation.

Primary level: $79,300.00 – $ per annum.
Secondary level: $98,400.00 – $ per annum.
Salary determined by scope, responsibilities, experience, education, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and long-term incentives may be available.
