Senior Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails) – Lehi, UT, USA

In addition to our core business, we have a fast‑moving Robotics team focused on AI and hardware innovation.

• You are a seasoned Software Engineer with a strong background in application development.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and peer engineers to deliver well‑scoped product features.
• You advocate for and practice test‑driven development (TDD) to ensure the delivery of high‑quality, reliable software.
• Your technical skills are complemented by effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages:
  Ruby on Rails, Go, Node.js, Python; with experience developing high‑performance, high‑availability backend systems. Ruby on Rails is preferred.
• Strong foundations in programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with scalable systems and test‑driven CI/CD, committing to quality software development.

  SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB, and understanding decision‑making between them.
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms such as Redis or Memcached.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Demonstrated experience designing distributed systems with a holistic perspective.
• Keeping up with the latest technological trends and continuously improving productivity.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred.

In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is between $100,000 to $150,000 in Lehi, Utah. This range does not include discretionary bonus or equity. Compensation is determined based on skill set, experience, job scope, and current market data.
