In this role, you'll be managing a distributed team of frontend, backend, and QA engineers in the Revenue Technology development group. This group is responsible for providing a sales rep facing application that is used by our Direct to Home sales team. This sales team knocks over 10 million doors per year and the application they use to sell is critical to their success.

You'll play a critical role in leading your team to deliver a simplified customer onboarding experience that provide high value to the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coach, empower, and challenge a team of engineers and QA to grow their skills and impact as technical experts
• Leverage your technical experience to ensure that your team is making sound decisions, focused on a quality experience for the customer
• Be a trusted resource for technical feasibility questions from Product management and UX
• Collaborate with your peer engineering managers to function as one team, delivering cohesive solutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships across Vivint Engineering and lead collaboration
• Partner with System Architects to deliver products and services that seamlessly fit into a greater Vivint software ecosystem

Required Education/

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science preferred)
• 5+ years developing software
• 2+ years leading a software engineering team

Preferred Experience:

• 8+ years developing software
• 4+ years leading a software engineering team
• Microsoft Azure
• Microservices and Kubernetes
• Vue.js
• .Net Core (C#)
• Integrating with third-party services

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
