POSITION SUMMARY

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the movement and delivery of OSM materials, components, assemblies, and equipment. This position works closely with OSM Production, Shipping, Project Management, Field Operations, vendors, carriers, and jobsites to ensure materials and completed products are delivered when and where they are needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules for OSM materials, components, assemblies, and equipment.
  • Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers, vendors, and jobsites.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with OSM Production and Project Management.
  • Track shipments and deliveries and communicate updates to the appropriate personnel.
  • Confirm delivery locations, dates, times, access requirements, and special handling needs.
  • Coordinate delivery sequencing to support production and field installation schedules.
  • Communicate delivery delays, changes, damaged materials, or other issues promptly.
  • Work with jobsites to confirm they are prepared to receive scheduled deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and transportation information.
  • Coordinate with the Shipping Coordinator to ensure shipping and transportation activities are properly scheduled.
  • Assist with coordinating oversized or specialized loads when required.
  • Assist with obtaining transportation pricing and monitoring transportation costs.
  • Help identify ways to reduce transportation delays, unnecessary trips, and other logistics costs.
  • Work with Production, Shipping, Project Management, and Field Operations to resolve logistics issues.
  • Follow all EZARC safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by OSM management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in logistics, shipping, manufacturing, construction, or a related field preferred.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Basic computer skills, including email and Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively with production, shipping, project management, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Ability to work independently and solve routine problems.
  • Must be dependable and detail-oriented.
  • Must follow all EZARC safety policies and procedures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to work in an office, fabrication shop, yard, and jobsite environment.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout active work areas.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS

The Logistics Coordinator will primarily work in an office environment but will regularly interact with the OSM fabrication shop, yard, transportation providers, and jobsites. The position may be exposed to typical manufacturing and construction conditions, including noise, dust, moving equipment, and changing weather conditions.

Occasional extended hours, early mornings, evenings, or weekends may be required to support critical deliveries or project schedules.

  • Communicate changes and problems promptly.
  • Maintain accurate transportation and delivery records.

  • Follow EZARC safety and operational procedures.
