Camp Williams is a charter school located in Lehi, Utah. We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and student-focused Part-Time School Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school, extracurricular activities, and special events. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting student success by providing safe, dependable, and courteous transportation while maintaining a positive and professional environment on the bus.
This position offers a competitive wage of $25.00 per hour for up to 29 hours per week. The ideal candidate is committed to student safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service while complying with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
- Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, athletic events, and other school-sponsored activities.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned school bus and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful environment for students while they are on the bus.
- Follow established routes and schedules while adapting to traffic, road closures, and weather conditions as necessary.
- Ensure students board and exit the bus safely at designated stops.
- Assist students as needed, including those with disabilities or special transportation needs, in accordance with district policies and training.
- Maintain accurate records, including daily route logs, mileage, inspections, and incident reports.
- Communicate professionally with school administrators, transportation staff, parents, and students.
- Respond appropriately and calmly to emergencies, accidents, or student behavior concerns by following established safety procedures.
- Keep the assigned bus clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition.
- Attend required safety meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
