IES is seeking an experienced Medical Director. This position would oversee Emergency Department operations at HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital Emergency Department in Lehigh Acres, FL. Role includes includes monthly stipend.### Site Medical Director Role:
* Provide on-site management of the clinical and administrative aspects for the Emergency Department
* Manage the quality improvement plan, including attending regular meetings, and review of medical records
* Supervise staff, provide feedback, and assure provision of high-quality care
* Review the provider schedule and ensure adequate staffing
* Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of qualified physicians
* Serve as liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff and provide regular feedback to IES leadership

Required Qualifications
* BC in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
* Active Florida medical license and DEA
* 24 hours Stroke CME annually
* ACLS, PALS
* Previous experience as a medical director or assistant medical director preferred, but not required
