Speech Pathologist Assistant in Lehigh Acres, FL

This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to serve students in grades K-12 within multiple school locations. The position requires on-site work in Fort Myers, FL, supporting a caseload of approximately 50-55 students. This contract role is full-time, averaging up to 37.5 hours per week, and runs through the current school year ending June 1, 2026.

• Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrative staff to support individual student goals.
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
• Adapt therapy plans to meet diverse learning needs across multiple school sites.

• Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) license as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.
• Ability to complete fingerprinting requirements in accordance with Florida school district regulations; prior fingerprints on file in the AHCA Clearinghouse may expedite this process.
• Experience working with children in a school or similar educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple caseloads effectively.

• Veterans Park Academy for the Arts PreK-8 (5 days/week)
• Harns Marsh Elementary (2 days/week) and Mirror Lakes Elementary (2 days/week)
• Oak Hammock Middle (4 days/week) and Estero High School (1 day/week)
