Branch Manager; Construction Services

NOVA Engineering & Environmental is seeking a Branch Manager in our Fort Myers, FL office. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced engineer and people leader to step into a high‑visibility leadership role with direct impact on business growth, technical excellence, and team development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day‑to‑day operations for Construction Materials Testing (CMT), Geotechnical Engineering, Building Code (and related Construction Services)
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of engineers, inspectors, and technicians
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and industry standards
• Serve as a trusted technical and business partner to clients, contractors, and municipalities
• Manage a team of engineers and technicians, evaluate and guide their performance and assist in their professional development and growth
• Supervise the preparation of routine proposals and quotations to clients to ensure proper scoping of services, availability of manpower, and pricing

Minimum Qualifications , Experience and

Education:

• Professional Engineer (PE) or Certified Building Official (CBO)/Building Code Administrator registration is preferred, but not required.
• 8+ years of relevant Construction Services (CMT or Building Code) or Geotechnical Engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading teams, projects, or business units
• Strong understanding of construction testing, inspection services, and engineering consulting
• Ability to balance technical leadership with business and people management
• Excellent communication, client‑facing, and leadership skills
