MRI TechnologistJob Summary and Qualifications
Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida‑licensed MRI Technologist to provide magnetic resonance imaging services to patients performing procedures in a compassionate and respectful manner. Responsibilities- You will demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment and obtain high-quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation
- You will facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast material
- You will prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated
- You will document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
- You will maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist
- You will check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross‑contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with necessary supplies
- You will accept on‑call and call‑back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care
- Registered Technologist by the American Registry or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- State of Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- 1-3 years of experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, computer, clerical skills
