ARDMS Sonographer PRN Standing ER

Job Summary

Join HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital as an ARDMS Sonographer on a PRN, full‑time, part‑time, or per‑diem basis. Your schedule will include coverage at two free‑standing ER locations: HCA Florida West Fort Myers Emergency (currently open) and HCA Florida Alico Emergency (opening Q4 2026). This role requires a skilled sonographer to perform timely, accurate sonogram examinations while collaborating with radiologists and maintaining quality standards.

• Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner
• Accurately perform sonogram examinations in a timely manner
• Record and process ultrasound images, maintaining proper documentation
• Maintain statistical results for quality improvement initiatives
• Communicate proactively with radiologists regarding any unusual clinical findings, patient history, or test results

• Two‑year allied health degree or completion of a 12‑month CAAHEP‑approved program
• Valid ARDMS certification: RVT (Registered Vascular Tech), ARDMS AB (Abdominal specialty), or ARDMS OB/GYN
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 1–3 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Strong organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer‑relations, clerical, basic computer, and analytical skills
