This position entails a dual role that supports the Agronomy Department. This dual role entails maintenance of the golf course as well as support tasks for the mechanical team supporting the equipment used for the maintenance of the golf grounds. The candidate will support both the Assistant Superintendent of Agronomy and the Equipment Manager.

• Complete assigned tasks within given time limits
• Drive a maintenance vehicle
• Drive a tractor
• Operate several different types of mowers
• Perform manual labor as needed such as:
  • Hand‑watering areas without irrigation
  • Rake bunkers
  • Snow removal
• Assist with handling preventative maintenance, repairs, and setup of all equipment and licensed vehicles used by the crew at the ground's maintenance facility
• Inspect, replace or repair a wide variety of machinery used to keep the golf grounds in good condition
• Assist in the maintenance of inventory of parts and supplies
• Assist with organizing maintenance records, parts manuals, and tools
• Keep the shop clean and orderly

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use technology such as smart phones, tablets, computers, web‑based applications
• Fluent in English
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Professional, team‑player, genuine, attentive and forward‑thinking
