Position Summary

Store Associate – Manager Support (Permanent, Regular) – Salary range: $65,000 - $100,000 per year.

• Lead and develop teams by providing training, active listening, and constructive feedback.
• Communicate and collaborate with associates on store operations, technology initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
• Implement company change efforts, set clear expectations, and guide teams in business solution execution.
• Model exceptional customer service standards using the One Best Way (OBW) service model and manage initiatives such as community outreach programs.
• Resolve customer issues, develop action plans for deficiencies, and provide process improvement leadership for a high‑quality customer experience.
• Drive financial performance by reviewing profit & loss statements, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and shrink mitigation.
• Supervise and mentor hourly associates, hire, train, assign duties, recognize performance, and promote a culture of belonging.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and support company mission values, including the Open Door Policy and ethical standards.
• Build high‑performing teams, embrace diversity, and create an inclusive workplace that encourages continuous learning and adaptability.

• Minimum of 2 years of college OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience with 1 year supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required.
• For facilities that sell only ammunition with state requirements, a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility must be obtained.
• Completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments, such as Academy trainings and Open Door trainings.

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
• Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring and firing.
