The Auto Body Technician’s primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional customer experience through the meticulous assessment and quality repair of each customer’s vehicle to restore it back to pre-accident condition. The technician disassembles, repairs, and reassembles each vehicle, playing a pivotal role in fulfilling the company’s promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence.

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use various tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair vehicle sections.
• Hammer out dents, dimples, and other minor body damage; mix and apply filler resins when other methods are not feasible.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts; replace or repair glass and windshields as needed.
• Replace or repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and otherwise attach or fit parts; prepare and repaint vehicles with factory‑specified paint or agreed‑upon equivalent.
• Attempt to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and verify all work by inspecting vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3‑year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

• Read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Work collaboratively with other repairers within an auto body shop.
• Understand methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
• Use tools required for the trade efficiently.

• Work safely in a noisy area with many odors.
• Lift up to 30 pounds at times.
• Visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions.
• Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.

$20.70 - $29.58 / Hour Flat Rate

Flat Rate Compensation is a performance‑based structure tied to turned hours. If total compensation in a pay period is less than minimum wage, clocked hours are calculated with a guarantee of applicable local or state minimum wage, whichever is greater.

Supplemental Pay:
Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience. This position may also be eligible for bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
