TITLE: Paraprofessional Sub Separate
QUALIFICATIONS: An associate's degree, two years of college, or passing the state assessment is required to support students with moderate to severe special needs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Follow student programming
- Collect and graph data, if necessary
- Provide reinforcement strategies
- Use appropriate prompting procedures
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living
- Experience with behavior de-escalation strategies preferred
- Any such other related duties as may be assigned by the building principal or designee.
The paraprofessional must also be able to communicate effectively with students and staff. He/she shall be punctual in all assignments, observe all District policies appropriate to this position, and accept responsibility for assigned tasks.
