Registered Nurse; RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU (Progressive Care Unit), Cherry Valley, Massachusetts.

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking an RN to provide direct clinical patient care, coordinate and supervise nursing staff, and ensure high‑quality, safe, and cost‑effective care for patients in the PCU.

• Provide direct clinical patient care on a per‑shift and unit level basis.
• Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate care for assigned patients, integrating the nursing process.
• Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to staff, ensuring competency and appropriate resource management.
• Support the CNO to maintain high‑quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
• Direct care according to established safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control standards.
• Ensure optimal discharge planning for patients.
• Coordinate and plan patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
• Perform and fulfill all HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed during emergencies and disaster situations.
• Know the hospital’s emergency codes and adhere to policies for each code.
• Perform related duties as required.

• Education:
  
  Graduate from a state‑approved or accredited nursing school.
• Certification:
  Currently licensed or certified to practice as required by state law and policy.
• CPR certification.
