• Provide direct clinical patient care and assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing care to assigned patients on a per‑shift basis.
• Supervise staff and delegate appropriate care.
• Support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high‑quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care and to maintain competency of clinical staff.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
• Direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control.
• Plan and coordinate patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
• Perform and fulfill all Hospital Incident Command System responsibilities during emergencies and disasters.
• Maintain knowledge of the hospital’s emergency codes and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Perform related duties as required.

• Graduated from a state‑approved nursing school or an accredited school.
• Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice nursing in the state of employment.
• CPR certification.

• Academic degree in nursing (bachelor’s or master’s).
